The idea of the SOBO Awards was conceived, with the name and logo concept designed by Junaid Shaikh (F3 News) & Mehdi Hasan Sumar (Unique Arts). The vision was clear – to create a platform that celebrates excellence, innovation, and impactful contributions within Mumbai’s vibrant landscape.
The inaugural SOBO Awards took place in 2024, successfully establishing itself as a prestigious recognition platform. The event honored individuals and organizations who showcased visionary leadership, creativity, and commitment to community progress.
The second edition, held in January 2025, carried forward the legacy with an even grander celebration. Awardees were felicitated in the presence of distinguished leaders and achievers from across Mumbai.
Now comes the Special Edition of the SOBO Awards, an exclusive celebration that brings together the Deputy CM of Maharashtra, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, celebrities, and other eminent personalities to honor Mumbai’s finest achievers. This Special Edition not only celebrates outstanding contributions but also serves as a platform for inspiration, recognition, and networking among the city’s most influential minds.
